We’re Keenan & Erica — the husband-and-wife team behind our family-owned real estate business. Our passion is simple: we take run-down houses, breathe new life into them, and turn them into homes that families can enjoy for years to come.

Unlike large rental companies with layers of property managers, we keep things personal. When you rent from us, you’ll always have direct access to us as your landlords — our cell phones are just a call or text away. Your comfort and satisfaction mean the most to us, and we want every tenant to feel truly at home.

Our Story

Our journey together began in downtown Orlando on April 23, 2015, when we met and instantly felt a spark.

Erica grew up in Vermont, where her entrepreneurial parents remodeled everything from small motels to large ski resorts. Watching her mother and father transform neglected spaces taught her the value of vision, hard work, and creating something beautiful for others to enjoy.

Keenan spent most of his childhood in Quincy, Illinois, where he witnessed the challenges of a struggling community. He looked up to his grandfather — an incredible man who worked many jobs, pursued entrepreneurship, and taught Keenan that true security comes from building residual income. Those lessons, and his grandfather’s example, continue to guide the way we approach our business today.

A year into our relationship, we tackled our first remodel — a 1,200 sq. ft. townhouse in Avalon Park, Orlando. Soon after, we welcomed our first daughter, Rylan, while Keenan supported our projects through his work as a lineman, often traveling across the country for storm duty. Erica advanced her career in the medical field, which eventually brought us to Texas, where our love for remodeling deepened with the purchase of our third home. This is where our company name was born — Standing Oak Ventures, Corp. — named after the street where this chapter of our journey truly began.

After the challenges of COVID, we made a bold move: selling our property, buying a fifth wheel, and heading to California to regroup and save. During that time, we also welcomed our second daughter, Roman. With renewed focus, we returned to Florida determined to do what we love — finding forgotten homes and restoring them into warm, welcoming rentals for families like yours.

Where We Are Today

​

In just the past year, we’ve acquired and remodeled four properties, each successfully rented under 12–24 month terms — with hopes of reaching 10 properties within the next two years. From there, the sky’s the limit. Every project has been both a labor of love and a way to provide beautiful, affordable housing in our community.
